Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested Friday night for public intoxication in Austin, Texas, while in town to attend the Austin City Limits music festival.

LeBeouf was arrested around 7:45pm outside a bar on 6th Street, Page Six Reports. According to a witness, the star "was either extremely drunk or high on drugs" when he took off running in the street, jaywalking in front of police officers. Out of control, he allegedly refused to comply with their commands, and was placed in handcuffs. He was then arrested and transported to the Travis County Jail.

Less than a month ago, RadarOnline.com released exclusive video footage showing LaBeouf ranting at his girlfriend as he smoked a suspicious looking cigarette and drank a beer outside a fraternity party in Germany. The actor, who has admitted to spending time in a rehabilitation facility, told his girlfriend on camera that he "would have killed her," with a source telling RadarOnline.com, "He was uncontrollable."
