Ramona Singer 'Crying & Irrational' As Diet Pill Popping Accusations Go Public

After a recent report claimed she was battling a diet pill problem, Ramona Singer is having a "serious meltdown," RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
According to a source close to Singer's Real Housewives of New York costar LuAnn de Lesseps, the single mom is indeed popping weight loss pills, but she thought nobody would spill the beans on her hush-hush habit.
"Ramona has lost her mind because her secret is out," the insider tells Radar. "She's been calling friends crying, and is irrational and erratic."
In Touch reported last week that the 59-year-old party girl began abusing diet pills when she approached a doctor about losing weight. (Singer has vehemently denied the report.)
To deflect from her own issues, Singer is now "going on a big attack" against boozy fellow Housewives de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan, the source explains.
"Ramona is on the show slamming LuAnn and Sonja for being out of control and saying they're the ones to be worried about, but the one everyone worried about is Ramona! Friends are concerned and think she needs help."

In her memoir Life On The Ramona Coaster, Singer herself admitted to downing pills following the breakdown of her marriage to cheating ex-husband Mario.
During a Broadway show, "I kept nodding off because I was taking too much anxiety medication," she confessed in last year's tell-all. "I didn't realize it at the time, but I was overmedicating myself to combat depression."
