Oh no he didn't! President Barack Obama opted to skip former first lady Nancy Reagan's funeral on Friday, instead scheduling an appearance at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival this week.
The funeral won't be totally void of Obama's, however, as first lady Michelle is set to attend on the president's behalf.
Meanwhile, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be upping up her popularity, as she plans to appear at the service as well, The New York Post reports.
Obama, a keynote speaker for SXSW, will be interviewed at the conference on how tech companies can aid world issues.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Reagan passed away at age 94 from congestive heart failure, her reps confirmed on Sunday, March 6.
The wife of the late former President Ronald Regan had been living in Bel Air, Calif. at the time of her death.
