Broke, desperate and shunned by the public for his role in the deaths of Whitney Houston and her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, a source claims Nick Gordon has turned back to an old friend for help: drugs!

"He's back on drugs and solely dependent on relatives for hand-outs to support his habit!" a source claimed to RadarOnline.com of the late Brown's troubled boyfriend.

"Unfortunately, he's doing absolutely nothing with his life right now."

The hot-tempered 26-year-old has been under a hailstorm of criticism ever since Houston's 21-year-old daughter was found face-down in the bathtub following a January 2015 drug overdose — a tragedy that led to her death in hospice care six months later.

Brown's father, R&B singer Bobby Brown, recently demanded that Gordon be tossed in prison — just weeks after an Atlanta judge found him "legally responsible" for her death in a $10 million civil lawsuit filed by her estate.

Others are calling for authorities to exhume Houston's body because Gordon was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in 2012 when the "I Will Always Love You" singer was found dead from a drug overdose — also in a bathtub.

Guilt-racked Gordon is reportedly smoking marijuana daily and popping prescription pills, the insider told RadarOnline.com.

In addition, he was recently photographed outside his Florida home — carrying two small bags containing a white powdery substance.

"He's not in prison for his involvement in Bobbi Kristina's death, but he's in prison publicly," the source says, "because wherever he goes he's looked at like a demon."
