The Minnesota police officer who shot and killed a man as his fiancée was broadcasting live on Facebook was found not guilty of second-degree manslaughter today.

Jeronimo Yanez also was acquitted of two counts of intentional discharge of firearm that endangers safety.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Philando Castile was shot in front of his girlfriend and her child, after a traffic stop in a St. Paul, Minnesota suburb, on July 6, 2016.

The woman recording the video can be heard saying, “police just shot my boyfriend for no apparent reason.”

Castile, 32, can be seen bleeding from his wounds in the disturbing, 10-minute long video. He later slumps over, dead.

Several members of the Castile family screamed profanities and cried after the verdicts were announced, according to CNN.

The families of Castile and Yanez were escorted out of separate courtroom exits.

At the time, the shooting was the catalyst for more carnage and civil unrest.

It was just a day later that 11 Dallas police officers were shot during a protest against police shootings. Five cops were killed in that attack.
