Kris Backtracks! Diane Sawyer Left Message 'At Her Office,' She Finally Admits
May 5 2015, Updated 12:16 p.m. ET
Kris Jenner is backtracking from her bold claim that Diane Sawyer never contacted her to comment on the blockbuster interview over ex Bruce Jenner's transition.
After the 59-year-old "Momager" tweeted that "no one asked me to comment" on the story in which Bruce's other two exes (Chrystie Scott and Linda Thompson) contributed to, her reps admitted that Sawyer indeed reached out to her to participate in the piece.
"Kris does not have official representation but a message was left at her office and she was asked for fact checking," her rep told People. "Kris said she was unable to respond because she had not seen the special."
In what amounts to a word game, Kris's reps said that "she did not say, 'No comment,'" in response to Sawyer's statement in the report that the mother-of-6 had declined to comment on the story.

Sawyer's home network ABC -- who reaped huge rewards off the highly-rated chat -- said that after their news department sent multiple emails "to her publicity team," Jenner's reps "called and said, 'No comment.'"
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kris's initial denial angered Sawyer, who felt the Hollywood mom "attempted to discredit her."
Sawyer's "a seasoned journalist and for a reality star to infer she's lying is insulting," a network source told Radar, adding that Sawyer "wants Kris to issue an apology."
