Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian are scrambling to protect their earnings in the face of Kanye West's recent major fashion fail.

"Kris was horrified at the amount of money he was going through and she saw this coming a mile away," a family insider told RadarOnline.com. "She discussed it with Kim and was pleased that she felt the same."

Kardasian, 35, "absolutely hates his clothes," said the insider of 38-year-old West's new Yeezy Season 3 line. "It's gotten slightly better and more feminine, but she still would never wear his clothes given a choice."

Unfortunately for business-minded Jenner and Kardashian, "Kanye pretty much told Kim where to go when it comes to him and his creative side," noted the insider.

Now West's inability to listen to his wife — or anyone else — is biting his loved ones in the financial butts.

"With Kris's early warnings over him burning through their money and Kim's fears that the range would flop, it's no surprise to hear he's in so much debt," said the insider.
