Jen Garner & Casey Affleck Checked 'Spiraling' Ben Into Rehab After Relapse
Ben Affleck, 45, is once again seeking treatment for his alcohol addiction, and it is brother Casey Affleck, 42, and estranged wife Jennifer Garner, 45, who pushed him to do it after his relapse this past Fall!
Soon after meeting Saturday Night Live producer girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, 37, the actor realized he was "spiraling" out of control, an insider told Us Weekly. He had "reached a breaking point" and was very "unhappy."
In his time of need, Ben turned to Jennifer, RadarOnline.com has learned. Despite everything they've been through, "from the smoking to drinking and gambling, Jen has always been the person who can get through to him," said a source.
Ben told her everything that was going on with his life," added the insider. "He was devastated but knew he had to change."
Casey and Jennifer reportedly found Ben a rehab center in Los Angeles, so he could continue working and spending time with his family. He checked out of the overnight rehab institution after five days and is currently attending a Buddhist meditation center called Against the Stream. He makes weekly visits and is feeling stronger than ever.

Though Ben and Jen are in the middle of negotiating their divorce, the actress "is going to continue to be there for him when he needs her," explained the source. "No matter what the circumstances."
He may be happy and in love with Lindsay, but the source claimed it's Jen who keeps the actor "in line as much as she can."
