Finally, some good news amid the Today show's volatile shakeup.
After a week off, cohost Hoda Kotb, 52, called in to the NBC morning news show with a shocking announcement: She has adopted a baby girl!
"I do have something to tell you. But instead of telling you, I'm going to show you something," she said.
The screen captured a sweet photo of the new mom and her infant daughter, who was born on Valentine's Day.
"That little girl Haley Joy, is my daughter," Kotb said in tears. "She is the love of my life!"
"Do you know how hard it has been to keep this a secret?" Kotb's right-hand woman Kathie Lee Gifford piped in. "I've got the biggest mouth in the world, and I said zilch!"
Gifford and Jenna Bush Hager also began sobbing.

"This little girl Haley is the luckiest girl on the planet," Matt Lauer said. "You will be one of the most fantastic moms I can ever imagine."
Kotb moved in with her boyfriend of three years, Joel Schiffman, last year. She was previously married to college tennis coach Burzis Kanga, but they divorced after two years of marriage in 2007. Haley Joy is her first child.
Meanwhile, Kotb's Today colleagues are in turmoil after Megyn Kelly's move to NBC, and Tamron Hall's shocking resignation following her firing from the show's 9 am slot.
"Everyone is just on edge, all the time," a source told RadarOnline.com in January. "They all feel like they could lose their jobs at any moment."
