Horrific Video Footage Shows Car Ramming Into Police Van On Champs Elysees

RadarOnline.com has obtained bone-chilling footage of the harrowing moments when a car packed with explosives plowed into a police van on a popular Paris boulevard Sunday night.

While the vehicle did not blow up, it did burst into flames, as police rushed to grab the driver inside. Local news reports say that man soon died from his injuries.
“We were waiting to cross through a traffic light, and suddenly an explosion has been heard and it has left the car fire,” Eugenio Morcillo, who witnessed the attack along the famous Champs-Elysees boulevard, tweeted.

The officers can then be seen working fast to break the car’s glass and remove the man, as smoke pours out.
French officials called it a “targeted” attack.
"The car contained weapons, explosives, enough to allow him to blow up this car," French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb told reporters.
The Paris prosecutor's office has opened an anti-terror investigation into the attack.
