Caitlyn Jenner's first meeting with ex-wife Kris for I Am Cait "was carefully staged and totally fake," according to an insider close to the reality TV clan.
The Vanity Fair cover girl and "Momager" "both knew exactly what they were going to say and do, to make great TV," a source told Naughty Gossip.
The Olympic gold medalist and his ex wife, a source told the website, "both wore white for the exchange at the suggestion of Kris "so they looked great when the press wrote about the first meeting."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Caitlyn engineered the first on-camera meeting with Kris for the first time this summer, after months of silence -- and some bitter feelings over Caitlyn's harsh words about Kris in the Vanity Fair piece.
In the meeting, Kris complimented the transgender advocate on her shoes upon arriving at her Malibu mansion, before calling her out for her interactions with her family.
I Am Cait airs Sundays at 8/7c on E! Sundays.
