Ready To Retire? Clintons Eye New Rhode Island Mansion In Wake Of Election Loss
Bill and Hillary Clinton have been gobbling up real estate in blue states, and RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that the former First Couple now have their sights set on a home in the affluent coastal village of Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
If the couple decides to purchase they property, they will be just a three-minute stroll from Taylor Swift's $17 million vacation home.
Throughout Hillary's presidential campaign and into the holidays, she and husband Bill were spotted at local markets and specialty stores, where their purchases of books and last-minute Thanksgiving items made the local news.
Now that Hillary has no hopes of ever becoming president, she seems to be resigning herself to a life far from the Washington power circles that she once controlled.
In fact, the Clintons have been leaving their New York State homes in Chappaqua and nearby Bedford Hills more and more often to take hiking trip in the Ocean State.
And while Bill sometimes holes up at the 20-acre Bedford Hills property, while Hillary's stays at the more quaint Chappaqua address, sources told RadarOnline.com they've been spotted together making trips to check out the Watch Hill enclave that Swift, Conan O'Brien and WME CEO Ari Emanuel call home.

"If they're looking for a strong sense of privacy and being discreet about their wealth, Watch Hill is all about that," one insider revealed about the summer resort that is roughly 100 miles from Boston and New York City. "Or maybe one of them is really a Taylor Swift fan!"
