Ivanka Trump sat down for a tell-all interview with Fox News' Fox & Friends Monday morning, revealing that she wasn't prepared for the "level of viciousness" she's experienced in Washington, D.C.

The First Daughter quickly dove into juicy subject matter, discussing James Comey's recent testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

"My father felt very vindicated in all the statements that he's been making and feels incredibly optimistic," she said before addressing dad's infrastructure plan, saying, "Ultimately, we're focused on why the American people elected Donald Trump as their president."

When asked about her new life in Washington, Ivanka confessed "it is hard" to adjust to the country's cutthroat capitol.

"There is a level of viciousness that I was not expecting. I was not expecting the intensity of this experience," she revealed. "But this isn't supposed to be easy. My father and this administration intend to be transformative."

"We're looking to change the status quo," she added.

While Ivanka said she "didn't expect it to be easy," she admitted she's been "blindsided on a personal level" by the challenges at hand in Washington.
