Pointing out that Lindsay, 29, has been to rehab "at least six times," Harvey puts the Mean Girls star's parents on the spot.

"You know I think when she was little she saw most of the abuse," a contrite looking Dina said. "And so Lindsay did witness a lot and I absolutely think it takes its toll on the children as well."

Her father accepted more of the blame than her mother.

"We were inevitably responsible for the path that Lindsay took," Michael told Harvey.

Choking up, Michael fought back tears as he admitted his failure as a parent: "Breaks my heart to think that she suffered because of the way I acted."

Lindsay's father then sang her praises, telling Harvey "This kid is such a talented girl and she's come such a long way."
