'You Pushed Me!' Chip & Joanna Gaines Expose Marriage Problems

Chip and Joanna Gaines are working on fixing their marriage rather than their homes, RadarOnline.com has learned!

The Fixer Upper couple starred in a PSA for "I Am Second," and revealed that their relationship is far from perfect.

"If you give Chip a boundary, he's gonna break that boundary," Joanna, 38, revealed to the camera. "If you give him a rule, he's not going to follow it. If you tell him he can't go past this line, he dips his toe over it."

"I like safety," she continued. "I like knowing what's coming. I don't want to be surprised. I don't know if we would've dated in college if we would've known each other."

"I like comfortable," she said to him face-to-face. "I like predictable. And you pushed me. You're comfortable in that you're consistent in just who you are as Chip. But you're definitely not predictable."

Chip, 41, fired back with jabs of his own.

"You were a flower in desperate need of water," he told her.

"My wife is a bit of a wall flower," he also admitted. "You know I joke around with her pretty publicly that she's almost awkward when we first met."

"He always jokes I'm the guy in the relationship cause when he wants to talk and dig," Joanna clarified. "I don't want to talk. I just want to eat my fries."

RadarOnline.com previously reported that the couple had a rocky beginning to their relationship as well.

Joanna had a horrible time on their first date, and almost didn't give him a second chance. Then, they were plagued with financial problems once they tied the knot.

Chip was even arrested for neglecting to pay approximately $2,500 in tickets to animal control.
