'Baywatch' Babe Pamela Anderson Celebrates 50th Birthday Today

Be still our Baywatch hearts. Pamela Anderson marked a milestone on Saturday, turning 50. The busty blonde who became an icon by sizzling in her red bathing suit was born on July 1, 1967. And recently, as RadarOnline.com reported, she has looked unrecognizable as she's traveled the world, gushed about Wikileaks founder Pamela Anderson, and has found a new boy toy. You have to start somewhere! In 1989, Canadian Anderson was spotted on the Jumbotron at a BC Lions Canadian Football League game wearing a Labatt's's Beer T-shirt. The brewing company hired Anderson briefly as a spokesmodel and her then-boyfriend made a sexy poster with her that got lots of attention.
Next, Anderson shot to fame as the Playboy magazine cover girl of October 1989. She became "Playmate of the Month" in February 1990.
Anderson decided to have breast implant surgery to boost her career, and soon, she became the "Tool Time" girl on Tim Allen's sitcom, Home Improvement.
After two seasons of her small role on Home Improvement, Anderson won the role of lifeguard C.J. Parker on Baywatch. Her iconic role lasted from 1992-97 and gained her a slew of fans.
Anderson didn't make much of an impact on the big screen, but starred in Barb Wire in 1996. And she successfully went back to TV on the show V.I.P. from 1998 to 2002. She has also turned to reality TV, appearing on Dancing with the Stars twice.
The former Baywatch babe has been married three times, to rocker Tommy Lee, with whom she had two sons, Marcus Schenkenberg, and singer Kid Rock. Anderson reportedly had another marriage, in 2007 to Rick Solomon, annulled. Anderson has raised eyebrows by saying that she loves controversial Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, 45, and discusses all topics under the sun with him.
