'Shahs Of Sunset' Star Lilly Ghalichi Accused Of Substance Abuse In $10M Lawsuit
Shahs of Sunset star Lilly Ghalichi cheated her business partner, Payam Pedram, out of cash from her lash business and admitted to substance abuse, he claimed in a bombshell new lawsuit, exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com.
On April 27, Pedram filed the shocking court documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court. He alleges she "withdrew money" from their business accounts and deceived him with secret transactions. Pedram also made the disturbing claim Ghalichi was "habitually under the influence of substances including Xanax and marijuana to the point where she was incapacitated."
Ghalichi "even admitted to Pedram that at one point, that she was 'a drug addicted lunatic,'" he alleged in the court documents.
Pedram noted he became involved in the reality star's businesses, Ghalichi Glam and Lilly Lashes, and helped increase their profits exponentially.
"In 2014 she told him her company Lilly Lashes was making $200,000 in revenue annually and offered him 50% interest to grow the business," the court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com stated. "Pedram identified a niche in the marketplace where Lilly Lashes was operating, namely instead of selling human hair eyelashes, selling mink eyelashes which could effectively compete in the market."
He also insisted that his connections with another famous reality family scored a huge financial windfall for Ghalichi's brand.
"He was instrumental in having Kylie Jenner promote Lilly Lashes on her Instagram in September 2015, which resulted in excess of $300,000 of revenue from a single Instagram post and more importantly put Lilly Lashes on the map," the court documents stated. "Lilly Lashes was generating $15 million annually in gross revenue. The entities continued to grow because of Pedram and his tireless and diligent work."
"However, rather than focusing on her duties in agreement to market and promote the entities, she reneged on her responsibilities," the suit alleged about Ghalichi.
Pedram also claimed the reality star was "focused on maintaining her 'celebrity' public persona and having a 'celebrity lifestyle'" and that she withdrew money from the businesses "for her personal use" without informing him.
Pedram asked the court for $10 million.

"As the lawsuit states, Ms. Lilly Ghalichi misled Mr. Payam Pedram by using her self-proclaimed celebrity status and her status as an attorney, to take advantage of Mr. Pedram's skills and experience as a successful entrepreneur," Pedram's attorney, Robert Kashfian, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive statement.
"Once Mr. Pedram was able to garner significant financial success for the businesses, she attempted to forcefully cut out Mr. Pedram from what he is rightfully entitled to," Kashfian continued.
"We look forward to a jury hearing Mr. Pedram's side of the story and vindicating Mr. Pedram's rights as well as his reputation as a successful and honorable entrepreneur to which Ms. Ghalichi fully benefited from. We are confident that Ms. Ghalichi will be held accountable for her actions."
A rep for Ghalichi claims Pedram's claims are "false, defamatory and malicious."
"Ghalichi will soon be filing documents with the court addressing the many wrongdoings by Pedram in this ill-conceived new lawsuit," the spokesperson claimed.
