Griffith changed his status to "single" on Facebook recently, and Evans claimed she was moving back to North Carolina from their home in Myrtle Beach, but the source told RadarOnline.com that "the two of them do things for drama."

"They know how to push each other's buttons," the source explained about the couple whose son, Kaiser, turns one in June.

Since the judge ruled that they aren't allowed to speak to each other, the source said Evans has been unfairly punished.

"This has basically given Nathan a break.  Jenelle is now truly a single mother taking care of Kaiser and trying to see Jace. She's done it all on her own and it's been really hard on her, but she's done a great job."

As for the online taunts, the source said they are just lashing out.

"Both of them are really hurt right now. Couples counseling was good for them when they were going but now that they can't speak it is a lot harder," said the source.
