Rosie Perez Shuts Down 'Fired' Rumors – Scheduled To Return To 'The View' Next Month

Hold your horses, folks! Rosie Perez isn't gone from The View yet.
Rosie Perez is set to return to the ABC talk show on Feb. 3, according to co-host Rosie O'Donnell, who shot down any rumors that the sassy actress had been fired.
Perez reportedly scheduled a break from the show in January to prepare for Larry David's Broadway show Fish in the Dark. But when her return date remained uncertain, rumors surfaced that Perez wouldn’t be rejoining fellow hosts O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg and Nicolle Wallace.

Even Variety reported that she had been sacked, claiming that after "only four months, Rosie Perez is leaving."
However, reps for Perez and ABC insisted to PageSix that she'd return. "We look forward to welcoming the multitalented Rosie Perez back to her seat as co-host on the panel on Feb. 3 after completing rehearsals," ABC's rep shared. "She brings her rich life experience and passion to the table, something we’ve sorely missed while she’s been away."
