Concert Sale Fail! Kanye West's 'Yeezus Tour' Ticket Prices Slashed In Half Because Of Low Demand
Feb. 12 2014, Published 4:28 p.m. ET
Kanye West's Yeezus Tour is in big trouble — low tickets sales and low demand have caused vendors to slash the cost of attending his concert in half, hoping they will fill seats, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
West, 36, has a Feb. 22 concert scheduled at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and an email was blasted out earlier this week offering $35 tickets — down from the usual $69 cost.
Tickets for the concert went on sale Jan. 9, but it's clear they didn't sell as anticipated so a special code valid through Valentine's Day was sent out to sell more tickets and fill the venue.
At the time of publication, there appeared to be a lot of tickets still up for grabs.
Not to mention, a chunk of the tickets that are gone were bought or gifted to radio stations for giveaways.
