The Feud Continues: Bethenny Frankel Asked Ex-BFF Jill Zarin To Appear On New Talk Show - But She Turned Her Down!
Oct. 2 2013, Published 6:17 a.m. ET
Bethenny Frankel needs a ratings boost for her daytime talk show so she reached out to one-time BFF Jill Zarin and former Real Housewives of New York cast member, Alex McCord to appear on the chat fest, and both ladies turned her down, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
In the last two weeks a booker for Bethenny's talk show personally called both ladies to "explore the possibility of Jill and Alex appearing as part of a reunion from the Real Housewives of New York City Season 1 or 2," a show insider revealed.
"Bethenny is feeling pressure from network executives because ratings from her talk show have been less than stellar. Both ladies turned down the invitation to appear on the talk show."
According to Deadline Hollywood, ratings for Frankel's talk show have been "soft."
The Skinnygirl mogul and Zarin's friendship hit the skids after Frankel publicly accused Zarin of being jealous that Bravo had given her a spin-off show, Bethenny Getting Married. Frankel accused Zarin of telling the other cast members of the Real Housewives of New York not to film with her. Zarin took issue with Frankel telling her to "get a hobby" in 2010.

Sources close to Frankel tell Radar, "She didn't want to invite Jill and Alex to come on, but she really needs a ratings boost, and thought having them come on would generate a ton of publicity.
"Bethenny was stunned that they both said no, she really thought they would agree to come on the show. Bethenny's bosses suggested she call Jill and Alex personally, but she absolutely refused."
The planned reunion is obviously "off the table because Jill and Alex said no. It would be boring for viewers to just watch Bethenny make a trip down memory lane with Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps," the insider added.
