It's Over! Stunner Katherine Webb Splits From Superstar Football Boyfriend AJ McCarron

As quarterback AJ McCarron and the Alabama Crimson Tide roll through the beginning of football season, he has one less cheerleader in the stands: RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that McCarron and his gorgeous model girlfriend, Katherine Webb, have ended their relationship.

"Yes they've broken up," Katherine's mother, Leslie Webb, confirmed to RadarOnline.com. "Katherine's just trying to stay real busy."

The couple had been practically a real-life Barbie and Ken for Alabama fans ever since announcers pointed out Webb in the crowd last season.

She soon shot to fame with modeling deals and a stint on Splash, the high-diving reality show.

But all that traveling put new tensions on their relationship.

While Webb was out of town at the Spike TV Awards in June, McCarron spent the night with blonde lingerie model Margaret Wood -- as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported.

Though the couple seemed to weather the storm at first, continuing to post lovey-dovey pics on Twitter, they became even more distant as McCarron entered training for football season this fall.

Webb was solo on the red carpet at the ESPY Awards in July while McCarron was at quarterback camp, and her brother, Matthew Webb, told RadarOnline.com "I can't say anything about it," when asked about a split.

But now, it's official. A source close to McCarron tells RadarOnline.com, "It might end up just being a break, but for now they've called it quits," confirming what Webb's mother revealed.

And perhaps most tellingly of all, they've both stopped following each other on Twitter.

UPDATE 8:13 am PT — Despite her mother's confirmation, a rep for the model tells RadarOnline.com, "AJ and Katherine have not broken up… The fact of the matter is Katherine is busy working (she is currently in NYC for a fashion shoot) and AJ is in the middle of the college football season on the #1 team in America."
