A day after Aaron Hernandez was indicted on first degree murder and weapons charges, a cousin of the former New England Patriots star pleaded not guilty to a contempt charge.

Tanya Singleton was charged after refusing to testify before a grand jury about Hernandez.

Bristol County District Attorney Samuel Sutter believes Singleton has information valuable to his case against Hernandez and had offered her immunity.

Hernandez is accused of murdering semipro football player Odin Lloyd.  He is also under investigation for two other killings.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, prosecutors have also alleged that Hernandez ordered his fiance Shayanna Jenkins  not to testify against him.
