Jodi Arias Jury Cannot Reach Unanimous Decision, Sent Back To Deliberation Room

The jury has been unable to reach a unanimous decision in the sentencing phase of Jodi Arias for the murder of her ex-lover Travis Alexander, is reporting.

The shocking news came Wednesday afternoon after just a couple hours of deliberation, leaving Travis’ family in tears.

The judge instructed the jury to hold on to their beliefs, but go back to the deliberation room to continue trying to reach a verdict.

If the current jury cannot come to an agreement, it will be labeled a mistrial on this phase and a new jury will be introduced, but must accept the guilty of first-degree murder verdict — and will decide her fate, regarding whether she will get the death penalty or not.
