Ben Affleck  wore his heart on his sleeve — actually on his right hand — at the Directors Guild of America Awards Saturday night.

The Argo director hit the red carpet looking dapper in his classic tuxedo.  But take a look at his right hand!  One or perhaps both of his daughters — Violet and Seraphina  — sent dad to the awards bash with a message.

“I [Heart] Papa.  Good Luck,” was inked onto his hand.

Affleck, 40, also had his wife Jennifer Garner at his side.  She was white hot in a stunning Antonio Berardi cocktail dress and Cartier jewels.

Ben took home the award for best director of a feature film.
