Justin Bieber is being sued for $9.23 million, RadarOnline.com has learned, by a concertgoer who says she suffered permanent hearing loss when she was "struck with a sound blast" attending a 2010 concert at Oregon's Rose Quarter Arena.

The woman claims she suffered both tinnitus (ringing of the ears) and hyperacusis (over-sensitivity to certain sound frequencies) when the Baby singer was suspended over the audience in heart-shaped gondola, prompting different sections to cheer. The woman says the gondola essentially functioned as a "sound conductor," causing the sound blast that damaged her hearing.

She said in court papers: "Experienced promoters, sound engineers, managers and artists are responsible to maintain safe decibels at all times during their events. Due to their negligence, and my subsequent inability, to protect myself, my quality of life has been permanently reduced in addition to the injury."

Bieber has yet to address the issue publicly, but his manager Scooter Braun was direct in his assessment of the big money suit, tweeting: "Dear the lady who is suing Justin for 9 million because his music was too loud, screwwwww you."
