Maria Menounos is going home.
Despite tying for Monday night’s high with 59 points, voters sent the Extra beauty packing, leaving Katherine Jenkins, William Levy and Donald Driver to duke it out in the finals.
“I learned so many things,” Maria, 33, said after she was eliminated. “I learned how strong I was. I learned to persevere. We didn’t know our dances yesterday until we got on the floor.”
Maria’s pro partner Derek Hough said he loved “dancing with this person — not just dancing with her, but just her as a person.
“She’s not just a champion of dancing,” Derek said, “she’s a champion of life.”
Maria returned the kind words, saying she “wouldn’t have made it this far without [Derek's] amazing talents and choreography.”
Elsewhere, Carrie Underwood, Alanis Morissette, dance pros Tristan MacManus and Chelsie Hightower, and Rock of Ages stars Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta and Mary J. Blige all performed in different routines on the results show.
Dancing with the Stars continues on ABC next Monday at 8/7c.
