As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Mel and Oksana reached a custody agreement last Friday, and it’s expected to formally be signed off on by the judge.
“I expect Mr. Gibson to be in court,” Mary Hearn, Public Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Court told RadarOnline.com.
The PIO issued a statement about the settlement: “As the result of a multi-day settlement conference, the Court announces that Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have achieved a settlement in their ongoing dispute. The terms and conditions of the settlement will be set for hearing on Wed., Aug. 31, 2011…
“Matters concerning the civil financial agreement will be heard in open court before Judge Peter D. Lichtman. Custody issues will be heard in a closed session.”
Mel Gibson previously pled no contest to a single misdemeanor battery count in connection with an altercation against the Russian beauty, in which Oksana claimed he had hit her in the face.
RadarOnline.com will be in the courtroom for the hearing.
