Alaina’s rendition of Carrie Underwood‘s Flat on the Floor and The Righteous Brothers’ Unchained Melody led judge Randy Jackson to say she can “sing like a bird.”
“That’s what you proved tonight,” Jackson told her.
Judge Jennifer Lopez said Alaina’s take on the ballad, popularized in the film Ghost, “was a beautiful song, sang beautifully.”
