A noticeably slimmed-down Aretha Franklin appeared on The View Thursday to promote her new album, A Woman Falling Out of Love.
The legendary Queen of Soul would not talk about the surgery she underwent five months ago, but said she’s “feeling wonderful [and] fabulous.”
She said that her while her 85-pound weight loss is the by-product of the surgery she underwent, she emphasized that “it was not Bariatric surgery.” (Bariatric surgery refers to a procedure performed to help obese individuals shed pounds).
The Chain of Fools singer, 69, wore a red top and black pants. She said she’s adopted better eating habits since the procedure.
