Jennifer Lopez & Tom Cruise Dance At MTV Awards
Tom Cruise rehashed his Les Grossman character from Tropic Thunder for a memorable dance with Jennifer Lopez at the MTV Movie Awards this summer.
The 47-year-old A-lister, clad in a tux and gold-tinged sneakers, boogied with J.Lo to Ludacris‘ “Get Back.”
Cruise’s lovely wife, Katie Holmes, cheered her hubby on from the front row.
Bristol Palin — No More Monkey Business
Bristol Palin made her mark on Dancing With The Stars in 2010, and one of the most memorable moments was when she and and pro partner Mark Ballas began an ill-fated dance clad in full monkey outfits (with Bristol’s wearing a skirt).
Judge Len Goodman told Palin, “I would have liked you to have kept [the suits] on a bit longer!”
Bristol went on to finish third in the competition, which Dirty Dancing’s Jennifer Grey won.
Kim’s Botched Botox A Lesson Learned In Keeping Up With The Kardashians
On her hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the 29-year-old reality television beauty had what appeared to be an allergic reaction to the cosmetic procedure they call Botox.
“I’m never doing this again,” Kim said after undergoing the procedure, which reduces the effects of aging. “At least not until I’m 40.”
Kim also had a busy year romantically, as she was tied to hunky jocks like Miles Austin, Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries.
Kate Gosselin’s Mini-Meltdown On Sarah Palin’s Alaska
When Kate Gosselin visited Sarah Palin’s Alaska, “She bitched from the moment she got off the plane,” according to Palin’s father Chuck Heath.
While she personally hit it off with Sarah, Kate clearly was uncomfortable during outdoorsy activities such as a bear safety class, a trip to the firing range and camping in the rain.
While camping, Kate let viewers in on her “freezing-to-the-bone” misery, as she vented like the displaced city girl she is.
“I’m worried about my toes; they’re freezing,” Kate said. “I’ve been bitten [by bugs] about 200 times; it’s horrible … I’m miserable, but somebody’s gotta be … this is cruel and unusual punishment … the kids are having fun, so I’m tolerating it.”
Golden Night! Betty White’s SNL Hosting Stint
We have to say that 2010 was definitely Betty White‘s year, topped off by the 88-year-old’s top-rated gig hosting Saturday Night Live on May 8.
The unlikely happenstance was the result of a grassroots campaign that started on a Texas man’s Facebook page.
“It kept building, and building and building and the next thing you know, Lorne Michaels is asking me to do Saturday Night Live,” she said.
