From her hysterical Super Bowl ad, to hosting Saturday Night Live to off-the-charts ratings, to her sitcom Hot In Cleveland, 2010′s been arguably the best (and busiest) year of Betty White‘s lengendary career, and she’s notched another long-coveted gig as it winds down: forest ranger.

The 88-year-old Golden Girls star Tuesday was anointed a honorary forest ranger by the U.S. Forest Service, RadarOnline.com has learned, as it’s a job she long aspired to have as a child, though the forestry did not employ female workers at that time.
These days it’s much different – 38 percent of rangers currently working for the U.S. Forest Service are women.
