The same day Jon bashed his former lawyer over comments made about Kate, the former couple were spotted looking relaxed and even happy as they led their separate lives.

Fresh off of her elimination from Dancing With The Stars on Wednesday in Los Angeles, Kate headed to the Big Apple on Thursday with bodyguard Steve Neild in tow after a quick stop at home to drop off the kids.

Thankfully, Kate got to enjoy some downtime despite the whirlwind schedule. Looking gorgeous, toned and tan in a navy dress and heels, Kate was all smiles as she walked through the city after a shopping trip.
Clutching an Ann Taylor bag filled with new goodies, she didn’t even seem to mind the gawking passersby and looked at ease as she flashed her pearly whites.
Meanwhile, Jon held down the fort in Pennsylvania, spending a sunny afternoon with the couple’s adorable brood. He was spotted kicking the ball around with his kids and playfully foisting one the girls up in the air and another one onto his shoulders.

Clearly enjoying their time with their dad, the children were glowing as they played around in the sun, grinning ear to ear and laughing heartily as they ran around in the grass.
