Conan O’ Brien took a well-deserved day off from his Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television tour Wednesday.
“Today is my first real day off from touring,” the red-headed funnyman Tweeted. “I’m home enjoying what my agent tells me is my family.”
O’Brien’s stage show- which features his TV co-stars Andy Richter, La Bamba and Deon Cole – has been on the West Coast this week, with recent dates in San Francisco and Seattle.
Next up: a gig close to his short-lived Tonight Show digs at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, Calif., on Saturday.
Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television has been O’Brien’s initial foray back into the limelight since his ugly split with NBC earlier this year. He’ll be returning to late night in November with an 11:00 p.m. show on TBS.
