Redmond O’Neal says he has finally committed to turning his life around following a checkered history of jail and drugs. Underlining how serious O’Neal is, the troubled son of Ryan O’Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett has released a handwritten note exclusively to RadarOnline.com in which he vows to leave his old life, and habits behind him.
In the note Redmond writes, “My plan is to go back with a new attitude and leave my old ideas behind. I am committed to doing this thing.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported Redmond was given another shot at getting his life together on Tuesday when a judge ordered him released from jail and returned to Impact, a residential treatment center in Pasadena.
Redmond had previously been undergoing in-patient treatment at Impact, before relapsing and landing back in jail.
Redmond’s legal ace attorney, Richard Pintal tells RadarOnline.com, “Redmond will be back at Impact within the next several days. I have every hope that he will be successful while there. His residential treatment could last anywhere from 6-12 months.”
Redmond’s next scheduled court appearance is on March 3rd.
