Little has been seen or heard from Conan O’ Brien since his final broadcast as host of The Tonight Show last month — until Wednesday, when the beloved comic made his presence known on Twitter, RadarOnline.com has learned.

“Today I interviewed a squirrel in my backyard and then threw to commercial,” O’Brien Tweeted. “Somebody help me.”

The biography on his page reads: “I had a show. Then I had a different show. Now I have a Twitter account.”

Twitter nation caught a case of the “I’m with Coco” fever, as in a day’s time, he garnered upwards of 237,000 followers — almost eight times as many as the official Twitter profile of The Jay Leno Show (30,000+).
