The Black Eyed Peas Go Green

The Black Eyed Peas are embarking on an environmental campaign, RadarOnline.com has learned, in an effort to raise awareness about climate change and a strong clean-energy economy.
“From creating new sustainable products out recycled bottles, to capping harmful global warming pollution, the actions and policies that protect the planet for future generations are the same as those that create new jobs and economic opportunities," BEP front man Will.i.am said in a statement.
The Boom Boom Pow rockers are teaming up with Rethink, Green For All and League of Conservation Voters to push the cause on band’s 23 domestic dates on their tour for The E.N.D.
“Green For All is looking forward to working with The Black Eyed Peas on this national platform to continue changing the face of environmentalism,” Green For All’s Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins said. “Green is not just a color. It is about bringing economic opportunity to struggling neighborhoods.”
