The show must go on…and it did for Andy Dick, just hours after being released from jail on two counts of sexual abuse.
The bizarre comedian performed at the Funny Bone comedy club in Huntington, West Virginia on Saturday night after his antics earlier that morning landed him behind bars.
Dick was arraigned Saturday and Tom Schaeffer, the manager of Funny Bone, posted the comedian’s $60,000 bond.
Dick allegedly grabbed a security guard’s crotch at Rum Runners bar after the guard tried to armband him early Saturday morning, according to the criminal complaint. The comedian was laughing at the time. Dick also was charged in connection with allegedly kissing a male bar patron, a show of affection that was clearly unwanted and witnessed by the victim’s girlfriend.
He was released at 3 p.m. Saturday and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 2.
