EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Sheen Relapse - Boozing In The Morning

The public relations spin game is well underway as Charlie Sheen's team tries to protect the actor's reputation after his arrest on felony domestic battery charges. But even as Brooke Mueller was being pressured to recant her charges against Sheen one glaring fact stands out - Sheen was boozing in the morning.
Aspen police responded to Mueller's 911 call at 8:34 am Christmas day. Sources close to Mueller told RadarOnline.com that both Charlie and Brooke had been up all night and drinking.
For Sheen, that's particularly bad news.

The actor went to rehab in 1990 after his father orchestrated an intervention. In 1998 Sheen overdosed on alcohol and cocaine and was hospitalized. He tried to hide his condition but his father made it public. Charlie then checked into rehab, left rehab and returned to rehab.
Many other booze-fueled near catastrophes were covered up, a source with direct knowledge of the situations told RadarOnline.com.
And now Sheen is in the middle of another incident involving booze, clearly a blaring warning siren for a man who has suffered with addictions nearly his entire adult life.
While the actor's spin machine tries to lessen the damage from his Christmas arrest, the fact that Sheen is drinking again ultimately may be the biggest problem he and his handlers face. Mueller recanted her version of Charlie's violence late Christmas day but told friends that she and Charlie were boozing and that she just wants out of the marriage.

Sheen alienated many Americans with his outspoken view that the 9/11 attacks were an inside job by our own government. That, plus his well-documented Heidi Fleiss hooker adventures caused the public to view him less than favorably.
But Hollywood gave him a second chance after he cleaned up his act with rehab and he made the most of it, turning the TV show Two and a Half Men into a ratings hit.
Now, however, with the news that booze was a factor in the events leading up to his arrest, Sheen's behavior has his handler frantically trying to protect his career.
