In the ever shrinking world of modeling, Ralph Lauren seems to be completely out of touch with the real world.

5-foot-10, 120 pound French model Filippa Hamilton has claimed that the iconic image conscious label has fired her for being overweight, but we’ve got photos of the beauty on the runway and we don’t think she’s fat.  Not even a bit!

"They fired me because they said I was overweight and I couldn't fit in their clothes  anymore," Hamilton, 23, told the NY Daily News. She has modeled for the American fashion label since 2002, and has appeared on numerous runways and even at the candy store re-opening of Ralph Lauren’s daughter’s candy store, Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York, and at every appearance we think she looks like a slender, healthy young woman.

Ralph Lauren Model Fired For Being Too Fat

Ralph Lauren Blue Label ran an ad in Japan which featured an image of her so photo shopped and skinny that she looks like she’s standing in front of a circus mirror.  "I was shocked to see that super skinny girl with my face; it's very sad, I think, that Ralph Lauren could do something like that," Hamilton said.

Hamilton, who had modeled for the designer since 2002, said in response: "I think they owe American women  an apology, a big apology; I'm very proud of what I look like, and I think a role model should look healthy. "
