VIDEO: DWTS: Kelly Osbourne Wonderfully Waltzes

Kelly Osbourne showed the world on Tuesday that she’s traded in her demons for dancing shoes, Viennese waltzing to an impressive 23 points out of 30 from the judges, and gaining accolades from her colleagues in her first performance on ABC's Dancing With The Stars.

It’s early, but the daughter of heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne, partnered with the dashing Louis Van Amstel, is emerging as a legitimate contender to the show's ninth season crown.

Across Hollywood, stars wrote about the solid performance on Twitter.

"Louis and Kelly NAILED IT!" Lisa Rinna Tweeted. "So beautiful wait till u see it west coast!!!!!!!! Not a dry eye in the house!"

Kim Kardashian Tweeted to Osbourne: "U were so elegant and graceful on Dancing with the Stars tonight! I am so proud of you!!!!"

Van Amstel, who complemented the 24-year-old Osbourne impeccably through the waltz, Tweeted, "Wow,i have never had so many reactions as tonight.It was truelly amazing tonight.So proud of u."

Other successful opening dances from this season's ladies included singer Mya (21 points), model Joanna Krupa (24), while 90s supermodel Kathy Ireland (16), Entourage cutie Debi Mazar (16) and singer Macy Gray (15) will be on the edge for Wednesday's results show.

This week's DWTS results show airs Wednesday at 8/7c on ABC.
