Shia LaBeouf has found romance on the set of his new movie, the Wall Street sequel Money Never Sleeps, with his co-star Carey Mulligan. The two were recently spotted walking hand-in-hand in Manhattan. RadarOnline.com brings you a quick introduction of the woman who has captured the young Indiana’s heart.
The twenty-four year old actress was born in the United Kingdom and lived in Germany until she was eight. She soon caught the acting bug and even wrote to venerable actor and director Kenneth Branagh when she was sixteen because she was so moved by his Henry V production. Branagh’s sister wrote back saying Branagh suggested she become an actress.
Mulligan took his advice and soon became the student head of drama at Woldingham School by the time she graduated. She took a year off before attending Reading University where she met Julian Fellowes who later put her up for the role of Kitty Bennett in Pride and Prejudice which she eventually won.
That wasn’t the only time she worked with fellow British starlet Kiera Knightley: they were also in Never Let Me Go together. She currently lives in London’s Covent Garden area.
