Be it at the Chanel show in Paris, or for appearances in New York black and white get-ups are making their fashion rounds from fun and funky to classic and even couture.

Isabel Lucas was the guest of honor at the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris and stepped out for the fabulous fashion affair in a white strapless and embellished sleeveless number with a black belt looking flawless, except for her inappropriately-crimped hair.

In New York, supermodel prego mama Heidi Klum hit up GMA Wednesday morning in a black and white mini-skirt with a funky slit-sleeved black top with cutouts, while Kristin Cavallari showed up at MTV studios in a jailbird striped body-hugging number teamed with a tailored suit jacket for an edgy yet-not-too trendy ensemble. Heroes fashion plate Hayden Panettiere didn't opt for black and white, but chose a darling pale pink, bell-sleeved Elizabeth and James backless mini-dress while in the Big Apple.

Playing up the hip factor, Nicky Hilton paired a tie-dyed miniskirt with a black jacket and white patent leather sling-backs for the launch of the new OP ad campaign. Her family friend, Kim Kardashian, is never one to miss a party: the reality TV diva left the Michael Jackson memorial service at the Staples Center, performed a quick outfit switcheroo (from all-black to a loud print shift dress with a tuxedo style vest) and was camera ready for the OP party quicker than you can say photo op!

In London, Emma Watson survived the rain and stunned at the Harry Potter premiere donning a vintage Ossie Clark whimsical print chiffon dress.
