The traditional monogram print Louis Vuitton luggage and trunks are a celebrity favorite, not to mention a travel staple for the likes of Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Justin Timberlake and every other fashion crazed super-star on the planet.
Monday night LV amped up their luggage collection and unveiled their “Malle Mars” Apollo 11 commemoration trunk at the American Natural History Museum to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the lunar landing. This lux storage device is without a doubt one of a kind and next dimension faboo!
Originally designed in 2004 by LV designer Yuko Torii, the futuristic aerodynamic trunk features what Louis Vuitton assumes one needs in outerspace — compartments, tools, drawers, dishware and even a folding chair to lounge in while looking out over the earth.
Either way- this is one serious piece of Louis Vuitton that even A-list celebrities won’t be flaunting. Sorry Jess! It is, so to say, out of this world!
The hunk of a trunk is currently on display at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
