Chris Brown Apologizes For Rihanna Beating

In a new video statement, singer Chris Brown publicly apologizes for his alleged beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
“Hi. I’m Chris Brown,” the video starts off. Brown then goes on to say he had wanted to apologize directly after the February incident but was advised not to by his legal team.
“I felt it was time you heard directly from me that I’m sorry,” he added and called his actions “inexcusable” and “unacceptable.”
