The “personal physician” in the middle of much of the investigation surrounding Michael Jackson is Conrad F. Murray, MD, a respected cardiologist with offices in Houston and Nevada. He is also licensed to practice in California.
Dr. Conrad did his internship and residency at Loma Linda University outside of Los Angeles, which he followed with Fellowships in Cardiology at the University of Arizona and the Foundation for Cardiovascular Medicine in San Diego.
He lives in a country club community outside of Las Vegas, and has been treating Michael for at least several weeks. Dr. Murray performed CPR in a desperate attempt to revive Michael after the singer collapsed on Thursday in his Los Angeles home.
