The Sorcerer’s Apprentice seems to be cursed–at least that’s what cast and crew on Nicolas Cage‘s new action flick are saying after a car injured 8 people on the New York City set early this morning.
This marks the second major accident for the production in three days.
Reports say a New Jersey women swerved her vehicle to avoid hitting a Yellow Cab around 4 a.m. Today near Times Square, where she crashed into a parked car causing both vehicles to jump the curb.
Apprentice crew were sitting on milk crates drinking coffee when the accident occurred. Eight total were taken to a local hospital to treat cuts and bruising, with one man being carted off in a stretcher sporting a neckbrace.
Over the weekend, a stunt driver for the film was racing a Ferrari through the Square, accidentally hitting to pedestrians walking by.
“[The movie set] sure seems cursed,” an unnamed crew member told the New York Post, “it seems snake-bitten.”
