Casey Aldridge may need surgery for a blood clot on his brain, sources close to the situation tell RadarOnline.com exclusively. He also has a broken ankle.

While Aldridge is in stable condition after crashing his Ford F-250 truck at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday (a one-car accident), he still may face an operation.

His condition is being monitored closely, the source said, as Casey slept on Sunday afternoon.  Doctors have warned his family members that when they believe his body is strong enough to handle it, Aldridge may go under the knife.

As RadarOnline.com reported earlier, the teen had a surgical procedure where fluid was drained from his brain Sunday.

A police spokesperson told RadarOnline.com that Casey crashed his truck on Route 606, a rural state highway, 80 miles outside of Monroe, La.  Four friends were in the truck with him and one suffered a broken collarbone. None were injured as badly as Casey.

Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of Britney Spears, rushed to Casey's side at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Casey and Jamie Lynn are the parents of 10-month-old Maddie. They have not married.
