Slumdog To Be Next Bond Girl?

Freida Pinto may be following up her breakthrough roll in Slumdog Millionaire with an even bigger role: Bond girl.  Pinto, who is already slated to star in Woody Allen’s next film, is said to be on the short list for the next spy flick.

According to the UK’s Sun, Pinto originally caught the eye of Bond casting directors for the last installment Quantum of Solace. At the time however, she was too young.

“She has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm,” the source told the newspaper.

It is said that Slumdog director Danny Boyle is favored to take over as director of the next film, possibly upping Pinto’s chances.
