With her House of Harlow jewelry line already making the rounds at Los Angeles shopping staple Kitson, Nicole Richie is expanding her design empire to include shoes, bags, sunglasses, belts, and other smaller accessories.
“Nicole is designing everything herself. She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her,” her manufacturer Rick Cytrynbaum told FN. The House of Harlow 1960 lifestyle line will premiere in Spring 2010 and will include 20 new footwear styles. The price of the products has yet to be determined.
“Nicole Richie is by far one of America’s biggest fashion icons right now. We’re investing millions into this brand. This is like nothing out there right now,” Cytrynbaum added.
The reality TV star and fashion forward ingénue has entered into a multiproduct, multiyear licensing agreement with Cytrynbaum — who also owns other celebrity favorites Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans.
